ACCA new exam rules from this sitting(December2007) gives us 15 min extra time for reading and planning.

"During reading and planning time only the question paper may be annotated. You must NOT write in your answer booklet until instructed by the supervisor."

What i want to know from you guys is :

Do you were allowed to write(tick mark) in question booklet ?? or just only reading??? Can we mark on question booklet ??

hurry up !! I'm sitting for P1. This may help me.. !!

you cannot write anything on your answer booklet but you may write anything on your question booklet. You should use this 15 min extra time to jot down key points for your answer to construct your answer, or you may do some short calculations. You may also highlights some important clues on the questions.
Good luck for your exam!

i don't know what's wrong with exam supervisors in Nepal; My friend told me that they didn't allowed student to tick mark even on the question booklets in F8 exam.

Let's see what happens in p1.

all the best guys. !!

we were allowed to underline and tick in the question papers but not to write anything or make notes. :(

but it was big relief then for F8 students.

Today sitting for P2 .. fingers crossed !!

We were allowed to highlight, make notes, so long as it was on the question sheet not the answer booklet.

Seems unfair that others are not allowed the same.

Same was the case here in pakistan, i sat in F7, F8 and F9 but i was not allowed to mark anything on the question paper, to be very honest i think this RAPT is worthless for me atleast, in these 15 minutes i used to spent 5 minutes in seeing the question paper that what type of paper is it, then i ask myself that can i do every question, then i plan what to to do first, in rest of the 10 minutes i used to take some rest by watching clock and eagerly waiting for the announcement of start writing!!!...
