I hear that the paper this time round was harder compared with the previous diets. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this?

Actually I took it today and I do have the feeling. I have only done about 85 percent of the paper. And the answer looks a little bit strange. I don't know why.
Any body took it today? How you feel?

I took this paper today - I thought it was very hard, a good deal harder that the last 5 papers which I used as practice. I thought that each question had something a bit nasty in it.

I would very much like other peoples views.

It wasn't an easy paper. :(
I did it complete without missing any part of the questions (thank god).
And i am hopeful to pass easily (may not score more than 65 :x ).

I felt really confident before the exam. All my practise on past exam papers had flowed, it just came to a complete halt iin the exam.

It was not what I was expecting..... or anyone else I've spoken to. Not one of them managed to finish it!

What do you do with a disposal that makes the general pool a negitive?? We did not cover it and I can't find it in the text books.

There were no nice questions on that paper!!

Yes I was shocked that a negative amount showed up in the general pool.

At least I was not the only one.

I treated it as a balancing allowance.

That really put me under pressure when I came across that question.

The VAT annual accounting question was a bit unexpected too. I covered every other area in VAT apart from annual accounting.......oh well

Overall though I had a pretty good feeling about 2.3. A bit worried now though, that everyone else seems not to have liked it.

I have just read the posts about 2.4 and everyone thought that paper was easy and I thought it was really hard!!

I think the 2.1 paper was a good exam, even though some people I spoke with did not realise that the number 2 question was about Invitation to Tender.

The 2.3 paper on the other hand was more difficult, it made me very confused for most of the exam. The IBA made me think very hard. I did not even finish the paper.

Well, I think paper 2.3 was easy, if someone has really care about the ftc tips. It was damn right. The only thing make me trouble was the selection of the last question. Question 2 was a gift and question 1 was also a bit easy. Question 2 in the previous sittings was a nightmare.I hope for 70 plus even I have completed 94 percent.

For paper 2.1, I completed it in the last sitting. The first question was out of order but section B was a bit easy and I got 64.

2.3 it was easy paper for me compratively to rest 2.1 and 2.2.

it tooks 1hr to finished Question No 1 but QN 2 took lesst then half hour.
From the selection i left VAT and Taxplanning(may be), rest 3 questions i did fine.
i attemed 100marks and there was 15 min remaining at last...

i got 86marks
