wow! the rzlts will be cmng in on feb 19. feeling really terrible about 3.1. though i did attempt the whole paper i doubt whether my answers were good enuff. can't seem to focus on core papers knowing that 3.1, may still be hanging over my head (God forbid). Any of you guys having bad vibes about 3.1 rzlt???? really need some consolation. :( [/b]

I think you don't need to get worry. Prepare yourself for next papers. If sadly you get fail then you will have time to prepare for 3.1.

Be calm and cool.

I feel exactly the same Fmi, usually I am raring to go for the next paper but I think I will be resitting this one too and I can't get excited at the thought of having to take it again!

thankyou for replying..... as Danica says lets just hope for the best....... however if it comes to resitting then i will probably be going with 3.4 rather than suffering 3.1 again......i made the mistake once...... if unfortunately the decesion time comes again i will be sure to keep away from auditing.....

Hey............... this is my first post on this forum! Actually I didn't find 3.1 that bad and find auditing quite enjoyable and am very much looking forward to my re-sit (sound like a contradiction? lets just say it could have gone better...)

Never be soooo pesimistic be optimistic if you had done better in exams you can find a pass designated to your paper if best then will be a place winner :P :P
But if examiner think that you should re-sit again then never make a mistake twice choose other paper except 3.1 you will not be a award winner if you had done your ACCA with 3.1

Yo whats all this about place winning??? I'v heard of positive thinking but I think hoping for an award is taking the P big time............... Lord I'll be happy with a 50 as long as I pass it!!! But if I dont then I will still retake 3.1 because I thoroughly enjoy the subject of auditing (yea I am one of those boring people who enjoys auditing, but thats just me)

lets just hope everyone passes.........i like auditing too or i wldnt havchosen 3.1 in the frst place.......but despite the very pleasant idea of resitting paper 3.1, i would rather have a pass.......though my q1 and q3 went real bad, i hav my hopes pinned on that outsourcing question....

Yh good luck Fmi........... true the outsourcing Q was quite nice and I cannot beleiev they gave six whole marks for outlining something so simple in the 3.1 paper, it was almost shocking! I found the rest of th epaper pretty much standard and normal to the previous few sessions and I think any student who revised and prepared well shall inshallah have no problem in passing it, as long as they answered all the questions (or almost all of them!) I was quite rushed for time and missed out on a few marks here and ther, so who knows..

One matter you should remember that do not worry about your answers and examiner's answers actually your answers are not as brilliant as examiners usually does .
So don't worry that your answers are not in as depth as those of the examiner's were just compare the overall performance that in general you and examiner are same in conclusion leave aside the language the expertise and other factors.
This is Because you solved your paper in 3 hours but he(Examiner) have lot of time to prepare exam answers.You write your answers in exam conditions and this was not the case for him.
I heared from lot of people that examiner's answers were very outstanding.This is because he is an examiner.

okkkkkkkzzzzzz not my but acca's mistake actually they displayed the link taged as answers and inside the link it is question paper any ways check questions too so they may be helpful to you for projecting your estimated mars
