Just don't waste your time and money for administration review. Let's concentrate on the next resit.
49 marks actually has been reconsidered from 47 or 48 marks.
People requests administration review when they were actually sit on the exams but received absent marks...

hi geeta
For remarking your answer script you need to contact acca and there is a admin charge of £40 for revaluation.

i scored a 48 in f9 last session n i understand its rele bad
bt tha acca ppl dnt recheck they jus recalculate n its nt worth spending money on
its better u resit
mt tutor told me there r 5-6 professional marks in every paper n ppl who fail at 48 n pass at 55 is due these marks
these marks r nt 4 the content u write bt 4 the professional way in which u represent ur paper
leave loads of spaces b/w questions n underline heading(use of ruler nt necessary)
the examiners hav a extremely limitd time to mark an answer script n if i remeber correct the tutor told me they hav abt 5 mins to mark 1 f8 script
so the easier u make it tomark for them the better
for questions tht ask 4 test n reasons n explanations use table format will b my advise

WEll, I also think that they only recalculate your marks.

hi,
I also got 49 marks in F4 twice and 48 in F6. I believe dat if u make any conceptual mistake which the examinor thinks dat it must you know, he gives it as punishment.

Could you give example as to what is a conceptual mistake and how much marks he cuts for it?
geeta - 05 Apr 2008, 09:13 pm
Dont student get marks for what they have on the exam script? how fair is it that students are being penalised this way? if so ACCA should standardise and train all Lecturers and Facilitators that provide tuition services. As it is this means that some training centeres in the world has the competitive advantage in preparing students for exams.
Students should be able to identify conceptual mistakes and the amount that would be deducted for it, in each exam and/or lecturers should be trained to teach this skill.

Dear Geeta,
ACCA has very transparent, independent and fair evaluation process where the meeting of marking team held immediately after exams and they decide the scripts evaluation process, Moreover, they recheck boundary line scripts (those scripts showing 48 and 49 marks) and in that rechecking procedure they try their best to award remaining 1 or 2 marks to deserving students.
Note: This is not an authorized statement of ACCA, This is what I heard from senior students.
Regards,
Muhammad Amir.

Dear Amir & Geeta,
I heared from my qualified seniors that ACCA team recheck paper of those students who got 45-50 Marks and after rechecking it may be possible that the student who got 45 marks can get 50 marks, but it's also may be possible that who got 50 marks may be loose his/her paper.
Have a nice day.
