56KB dialup connection but speed 6 Kb

I am new to internet and computers.I am using 56Kb dialup connection but when i download anything download speed never increases from 6-7 Kb.How can i get full download speed from my dial up connection of 56 Kb ?

You are already getting full download speed on dial up 56K :)

You are having one of the peak download rates as an average speed in Dial up.

She has reported 6-7Kb and i think it should be at leaset 20-30Kb as peak download rates in dial up.

In dialup connections 7KB is considered as highest speed.

I am very much confused because you are declaring it as full speed while my connection with ISP is usually 48.6Kb/second but my download speed is just 6 or 7kb/second....How is it full utilization of full connection speed ? :?

Paki girl you are getting maximum available speed in dial up connections of 56kb.
It looks to me that you are confused about your connectivity speed and your maximum download speed you get.Actually confusion lies in your understanding of "KB".Let me explain what is it...
Internet transfers are in digital mode mean 0 and 1.What is that 0 and 1 ? it is called Bit.Individual 1 and 0 is called bit.For example
0101010111 are 10(ten) bits.
000111 are 6 bits.
In digital data bit is the smallest unit.Let me explain one more term that is Byte.It is equal to 8 bits.
1 Byte = 8 bits
And now about your question that your connectivity is of 48.6kb/sec or more and transfer speed is just 7 kb/sec.
Actually you are misunderstanding your connectivity speed with download speed.From where you note your download speed it is mentioned in Kilo Byte (kilo=1000).While your connectivity speed is mentioned in Kilo BITS.

Yes you are using dial up of 7Kio Byte.

Yes you are using 7 kilo Byte connection which is equal to 56 Kilo Bits connection.

It is 56 KiloBITS
Not 56 KiloBYTE.
1 Byte = 8 Bits.
