Could you help me step by step how can i use this software.I have downloaded all pre-requisites but software setup is still not completeing. :cry:

HELLO MEMBER

This is the end of June, 2006 so here is our activity and comparison charts. During the first 20 days there have bee a great activity but during last 10 days it decreased to almost 0, maybe because of exams every body was tired and went to spend vacations.

JUNE, 2006 Growth Chart
On 30th June, 2006 there were 315 members out of which 87, highest recorded were registered in June. This makes June, 2006 a record month (ofcource spammers had their own role). Socound highest is still January, 2005 with 75 members.


JUNE, 2006 Members
On 30th June, 2006 there were 377 members out of which 59 members have e-mail adress and 22 have website and 7 members have both e-mail and website.


JUNE, 2006 Posts
On 30th June, 2006 there were 3401 posts out of which the highest number of posts were recorded in General ACCA section (over 400 posts).


JUNE, 2006 Topics
On 30th June, 2006 there were 533 topics out of which the highest number of posts were recorded in General ACCA section (69 posts).


JUNE, 2006 Top Tens
On 30th June, 2006 there were 3401 posts in total out of which 1397 posts were posted by top tens, highest 234 by me.

So you people were unable to gues about that picture. Even it is quite clear that this is a software and with "ACCAForums.com" written on it, its more easy to tell that this software is related to this site. Picture shows it relationship with graphs and diagrams and on diagram with the word "Statistics" tells that this software analyse some kind of statistical information.

Well since you couldnot tell about this software and it is quite ready to be published, I better tell you about it.

I got the idea of this software before exams so I delayed it till exams. It downloads information from ACCAForums.com and analyses it in form of graphs and diagrams. It can save and open files downloaded from net for future use. And it is a browser too.

It was a good practice to refresh programming after entering ACCA. I used GDI+, Direct X, Charts, Browsers and many other technologies in this project.

So this the greatest "creation" of mine appeared on this site and much bigger then ACCACLOCK screen saver etc. Well it was quite tough job also because I am not expert in HTML language and never created an internet comunicating application before. Once I got stuck in codes and decided to leave but thanks to my mind which always "flys" while coding.

Well I think you will like this project very much.

Soon I will open a new thread with name of "ACCAForums.com members statistics" and diagrams will be available there and surely I will also create a site to make it available for downloading.

As you see it is quit complete but before I upload it, I wana make sure it will work on your PCs and also waiting for new ideas. If no new idea came than you can use it in this week (I HOPE).

I already mentioned that I started this little project after exams not before exams :P .

No this software cant be used with any other site.
And there is no option too.

It load this site automatically on startup and there is no address bar. You can refresh this site and jump using goto menu.
So this is a special purpose software only of ACCAForums.com

Software is now available for downloading.

SOME KNOWN ISSUES

1- Setup/software don't run

Insert XP CD, from "Welcome to Microsoft Windows XP" screen, select "Perform Additional tasks" then click "Install .NET Framework". Now software will run on your PC.

2- Screen problem

On startup, you screen may fliker for a moment. This is because of graphics on splash screen (Direct X will adjust your screen to clearly show those graphics). It is not a problem.

I checked it and all pages work fine (on download page use the link "Click here to download")

You are facing this program because you may have not installed any downloader. in this case use this :
"RIGHT CLICK" and "SVE TARGET AS"

I hope it works now.

It doesn't start to download.

Wow I worked so hard to program it and you are unable to download it.
Well if you are facing problems using that site, use a simple link mentioned by Rafik (right click and "Save target as" OK!)

By the ways, was anybody able to download and use it?

Ya man . i am successful to download. Now im going to use it ...

First i used flashget software to download it but as mentioned by two other members it never get started then i save the target link.Now zip file is downloaded of 6KB but this file is corrupt. :oops:

the file is about 3.49MB but now i am in search for .NET Famework...

Ppl I already told you in "Some known issues" how to install .netframework from you Windows XP CD. It requires v 1.1.

I am curious to use this software.
It is very problematic right from beginning....
I tried to download zip file ... after failure and failure.
Now it has downloaded without any change.
Now i am in the hunt of .NET framework plugin.

No its maximum size can be upto 23 MBs but did you tried your XP CD. It is available in XP CD.

There are different versions like for Developers (thats maybe you are talking about), users etc. You need the user version.

I tried to download .net framework from windows update.After downloading some software now i am warned that i am not using valid xp copy :oops: and no way to install .net framework. :(:(

I found .Net in XP's CD, but I was not able to install it on my pc. I even try from my other CD's but the version was different....So, Now i am thinking to download from above link.....

Shahid its really problemsome for non-pc pro members to know the difference between .Net Framework 2 and older.I think you had to use .NET 2 to build the application because .NET 2 is longer to stay and when windows are updated it updates old .NET framework to .NET 2.As you know .NET 2 is more powerful and feature intensive than older packs so you had to go with it. :)

Actually here around me people use old systems and phsicologically I used v1.1 but I forgot that I am amongst net users who are the most updated ppl. Well I'll try to upgrade.


By the way all was about fun and those chart. "You upload or I upload" , does it make any difference? Still everyone can see stats.

When i would be able to run this software ...????
It is very tidious to download framework software and then it doesn't run at the end.

Do something please to make it an easy installation. :(
