My first question took 2 hours and 5 minutes and i solved other questions in 55 minutes only.Though i was able to solve all parts of the questions but i am have no idea whether i woud pass or not because first question really took me badly.

But in this session i am very much pleased with my performance.Yes you are right first question always take time specially in ACCA 2.4 paper because its half paper ;).

Larry last time in June i did same what you are saying more than 2 hours to first question.But in this attempt i decided to give not more than 1:45 hours to first question.Fortunately i was able to finish my first question in 1:36 hours.And then solved other questions and gave 15 minutes to recheck.But as i know there were some calculation mistakes so i will be happy anything above 55 marks.

i did`nt attempt section A ,1st i went for Section B then i started section A , but bcoz of Fever & wrong question selection i did`nt do well in my 1st question (ABC costing) this is my fav. topic but i think i did`nt perform well in that question but later in CASH BUDGET question i did well but ABC costing took alot of time then finally i had only 1 Hour for section A & due to miscalculation & wrong paper managment i missed my 16 marks Report writing bcoz of lack of time, but but other thing i attempt i belive all better & 1st part of ABC aswell :) but that was just of 4 marks.anyways result will show how i attempt other questions.
if u attempt Section A perfectly then there is alot of chance that u will clear the paper for example if u took 35/50 (2 hours & 05 mins) then there is alot of chance that u can easily pick
15 marks from section B (4 marks ABC part (i) in 2 mins) 10 marks i belive for Cash Budget in 20 mins & few marks from Theory aswell so HOPE FOR THE BEST as v do`nt have a chance to prepare for the wrost now :).

My 2.4 paper was very very bad i was about to weep and cry after i started to solve first question.I was bit confused right from the start of the paper but i don't why first question proved to be a web for me and that's all.My time was wasted in solving and resolving the question 1 parts.
I am 100% fail .
And preparing for next time.
