This is online community and no one is in front of me so i am little more bold to say that i have been failed four times in that paper.But i am hopeful in this attemp that i would score 60+ marks easily.

My previous marks were
Dec 2003 ==> 42
Jun 2004 ==> 45
Dec 2004 ==> 33
Jun 2005 ==> 17

Oops it's really a very bad story specially in last two attempts you have shown bad performance.I wish for you pass in this attempt.What was the real problems you faced in this paper ?
I passed Financial Management and Control paper in second attempt though my first attempt was just short of two marks i scored 48 marks but secont time i scored 62 marks.
Hope you will clear in this attempt.

I am sorry about your unfortunate experience in exam 2.4 I passed 2.4 in my second attempts, for the first attempt, I only got 35marks. So in the second attempt, I focused all the efforts to study it and got 57marks. I think you need to do more pass exam questions, and ensure you know how to answer question 1. It's welcomed if you want to ask me more experience about exam 2.4

N0 doubt 2.4 have very less %age passrate i.e 33% . I got 63 marks in JUNE 2005 attempt it was my first ever attempt in ACCA after 5 paper exemptions. The thing is if your section A is strong then you can easily make a good score like NPV( u shud be clear that what factor effects you investment decision i m talking abt which items shud b included or excluded while calculating PV , Sensitivity Analysis , Lease vs purchase decisions ,Money rate real rate ,Inflation, Tax rate and capital allowances in investments decison. rate of ruturn ROCE,ROI, Payback Shares sections also debentures , coupon rate , In section B ABC , Standard costings Variable ...>>> why and when orgnization needs ,capitl markets etc . and its calculations ,,.......... ............ ............... dont forget Financial ST analysis Ratios intepretations

In short i wanna to share my experience with you :::What i did i just study the text once thorughly because major aspects of 2.4 were very new for me then pratice the KIT thrice , i felt free and easy thanks GOD when i was attempting secion A , anyhow i completed it in 2 hrs .

Congratulations FU you showed a great courage but I dont understand a decrease in marks in last two attempts.

Fu you are best not because of passing this paper but because of sitting in 5th attempt (y) and congratulations for passing it.I have got only 50 marks in this attempt :D (first)
