I missed 18 marks completely because time was over. How did you complete in time ?
My only reservation is about time otherwise i put right answers on the paper. And i am sure i will get around 50 +2,3 marks.

Same here time was short for me as well but i only missed one part partially i think it would count 6 or 8 marks.Overall i am hopefull to clear it with good marks.

I am happy I passed the exam in Dec 2005 and I got 66 marks. I have been worried about the exam because I can't get the Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statment balanced/ matched. But I am happy I get it passed.
Regarding to your situation. I think it's quiet difficult to pass the exam by self study. It's boring to study through the Study Text book, you need someone to teach you and you will understand it easily.
I also got a MBA degree and have 5 papers exempted. but ACCA is different with MBA. You have to manage your time to study and work. if you think your work is more important than study, focus more on work rather than study.
Good luck to you.
