Could anyone advise me on the recognition of this degree from Oxford brookes, opt-in option with ACCA. I would like to know if it is worthwhile. Am currently pursuing ACCA L.III.
Infact, an independent source listing on the best business schools could be real helpful. Also, I have been thinking of options post-ACCA, probably CFA or a Masters. I am not sure. Am 24 and maybe masters would be too early - that's whatmost people tell me. CFA is a good option? I would appreciate your comments and advise.

Oxford Brookes is internationally recognized university and stays at some good rank in best universities list of UK.BSc Hons in Applied Accounting is not just honorary degree you have to complete Level 2 and thesis work to get this degree which make it totally recognizable all over the world except few non-standard following places (.like pakistan).

So far it is not recognised in pakistan.

In my opinion ACCA is more valuable than BSc degree because ACCA degree is awarded after completion of all papers and experience of work while you can take BSc degree after complete Level 2 and thesis.It is recognised worldwide. :)

Is there any competition between ACCA and BSc Honors? Really not, BSc Honors is just an extra edge for ACCAs. If you get it - its better, if you not - its good though. Well, in my opinion the name implied to BSc (Oxford Brooks) really does matter for the career. It is not the matter of recognition in Pakistan, but its the name which should show its worth.

i think that now this degree has been recognized in pakistan by the higher education commision and i am sure it would be really help full thing for all pakistani people really.any comments please dont hesitate to reply me kindly

BSc Hons from Oxford brooks was already recognized in Pakistan.


But not the one we get through ACCA.
