Don't need to be soo afraid.
There are only 2 differences in CBEs(Computer Based Examinations) and PBEs(Paper Based Examinations)
1)In (PBEs)Paper Based Exams you need a pencil like HB or others to fill out the circles such as question 1 has four choices A,B,C,and D now if choice D is correct then you need to fill out that circle neatly with the help of penil contrary to that in CBEs(Computer Based Examinations) if choice D is correct then you need to only click on the appropriate box.the conclusion is that you don't need drawing skills in CBEs
2)If you are taking you exams as PBE then you might be place winner world wide or your region wide but for that you need to wait for 9 weeks atleast for results but in CBE this is not the case because you get your results shown on screen after 5 to 10 seconds of finishing procedures and also a prompt print out of your result by ACCA's nominated body who conduct your Exams usually it's British Council. And now you relax that you don't need to wait for 9 months.
There is no matter whether you passes 1.1 and 1.2 CBEs or PBEs the actual matter is that you should pass it in right time for future planning.
if you are affraid of CBE's Sortware then this will also be solved that whenever you registered for CBE in ACCA's approved CBE center when paying for CBE fee let them acknowledge that you need a DEMO test to be conducted for you so that you may learn how the CBEs software works?
this will be conducted i think usually 2 weeks before your actual CBE will held.
But this is not the big deal there is no soo difficult to use such software also if your CBE provider is not providing you DEMO services then you can also get assistance from you nearer Representative of exam conducter at the start of paper.
I know lot of people are only affraid of the use of software because of their first exam and such a tense situation but when you reach their in exam CBE center there will lot of inviligators    who will be available to help you and also to make you cool 8)
