Dear Members,

As you people are aware that in Pakistan ACCA is currently facing difficulty in recognition as first tier qualification and this is just because of some local GURUS who do not wish to establish ACCAs in local Market and just because of political games played by these Gurus ACCAs are not allowed to establish public practice.

The reason they gave for this is that their local ACAs/FCAs are too much competent as compared to ACCAs/FCCAs and time-to-time their current students do not left any single effort to disgrace ACCA, its members and Curriculum.

So lets see the difference between these two bodies and decide by yourself that which qualification is better and in line with the requirments of this dynamic Accountancy world.

These comparisons are posted in different episodes and i tryed to do Paper-to-paper of the advanced level of both qualifications.

i saw ur arguement with them. affter comparing the difference in standard of question ffrom that P3 u post. one no need to say out but will know which is a better standard. such a topic u dun need to argue with those people. if u are making a living from selling deep fried fast food would u tell people ur food are unhealty? no right. after reading those reply i realise that those people argue untill they duno what are they talking. i can see that ur analysis of question btw our p3 and their bmg paper hurt them. but pls understand no point arguing with them. yes it's monopoly. what can u do. it's not the standard that count. it's the way their system is construct. they want to put ca as the top mean they want. what ever u do cannot change the fact. i think just let them say wat they want. anyway i can see the whole forum is against u.

thats a good effort for ACCA's and for reality. ACCA is a big name in the field of finance all over the world, why not in pakistan.

You are right in saying that the whole forum is against me due to so many reasons and this is one of those many reasons.

As far as ACCA's recognition in pakistan is concerned, I think it is not the fault of ACCA qualification but indeed it is the sleepy role of local ACCA management. Number of ACCA students in pakistan are increasing day by day but ACCA's mangement is still not able to secure a workable condition for ACCA's trainees in audit firms. So, ACCA's management is also equally guilty of these adverse conditions regarding ACCA qualification.
