Hi All,

I am Chartered Accountant from India with 4 years post qulaification experience ( approx.) and presently working in India. However, soon intend to move to UK...therefore in process to explore courses which can help me to get good work in new country.

Being Chartered Accountant could relate with ACCA as well as with ACA England & Wales.... but confused between which can be of greater help.

If any one of you can help me with making a right choice ...I am not looking for practise or do audits ..
Course which is in demand with banks & reputed corporate houses would interest me.

Thanks in advance
:)

if u wish to go to UK then ICAEW is the best as over there ICAEW is preferred over ACCA

but globally ACCA is more recognised

pragay_2891....

i think you are wrong, depending on who you speak to and what industry you go into employers preferences vary as to the qualifications they look for in an employee,

if you wish to go into practice then yes CA's are preferred however if you opt to work in industry then ACCA is a lot more applied and employers prefer this

so if you want to practice then go for CA in england and wales otherwise ACCA, with ACA generally people prefer them due to it being a lot more prestigious but i beleive ACCA has come on leaps and bounds recently and is almost on pat with ACA the exception being ACA is more focused on the audit aspect which is really boring in my opinion

let me know if you want more info
