Hi guys,

This is my first post. Firstly, I have to say I am pleasantly suprised to see a vast array of subjects being discussed within this forum and it is a great tool for students worldwide. Well done to the ppl who participate as well as the people involved in running it day to day.

My main query is regarding how much will the course (ACCA) cost. I just want to get some clarification. In the UK the tution fees cost £4000 right and how much is it per subject?

http://www.accaglobal.com/join/acca/fees

ACCA Qualification Student & MSER Fees
Initial Registration £64
Subscription £64
Duplicate card £10
Re-registration fee £64, in addition to any amounts unpaid at the time of resignation/removal.
Exam/Exemption June 08
Knowledge £47
Skills £55
Professional £63
Exam/Exemption December 08
Knowledge £47
Skills £55
Professional £63

Together that roughly adds up to about £500.

So am I right in saying the TOTAL cost will be £4000 (the tution fees) plus the £500 costs ive listed above to bring it to a final total of approximately £4500?

I would apperciate it if someone could help me out here.

Kind regards,

JoeyPeeps

In the knowledge level there are 3 exams so multiply that by 3
In the skills level there are 6 papers so multiply that by 6.
There are 5 papers at profession level so £315 just for exam fees there.
You take either exam or exemption, depending on previous qualifications.

You wouldn't need to pay a duplicate card fee so knock that off your total.

However the lowest amount of exam sessions would be 4 so you would have at least 2 annual fees and that would be hard going!

How are you planning on doing tuition because that can make a big difference to the costs?

Thanks for your reply.

How much is the annual fee?

Tuition fee will be paid independantly.

I think after rounding up all the figures the final sum total should be in the region of £5800.

This is after completeing 13 papers (i have one excemption) and paying all the costs associated with it as well as tution fee. Does this number (£5800) sound reasonable to you?

I plan to study full time, everything is within the course taught by London School of Business and Finance.

Okay so you will have got the costs involved in the course. How many papers are you taking each time? That will give you an idea of how many years you will need to pay the annual subscription, then you have all the other costs. I would be surprised if it was as little as 5800 but your tuition may be cheaper than mine was!
