Costing the whole of ACCA Qualification

Hi
I have been doing a costing exercise for new students that start studying ACCA (this year) and what it would cost them in total till they qualify.
This scenerio is based on 2 exams per year (taking 7 years to complete) with BPP Ltd based at this years prices.
Total cost would be £10,982 (Includes Taught course and Revision course + exam fees).
This price does not include annual price rises by BPP. They assure me this would be 5% on average per year.
Let me know if you want any more scenerios working out.
Best Regards

7 Years.
Man when I joined ACCA my family shocked that I am going to stuck with this for 3-4 years.
What if someone tells them that it can take as much as 7 yeas.

Yes If you are working for the big four then you are expected to complete in four years, but most of students don't yet work for the big four and either work full time and have a family (like me). I think baby steps is the answer and actually passing exams keeps you motivated. I have heard lots of stories of students taking too much on then giving up before they have even started.
I always say you can grow old with a qualification or grow old without it, they can never take it away from you.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
In my case I have 3 exemptions (1.1,1.2,1.3). ACCA representative gives free text books and revision kits. I also attended FTMS courses at about £400/each (no text books/revision kits but course notes). Quality of FTMS lecturers is quite hight as their student pass rate is 90%.

I planned to take 4 exams/years and to pass 2 out of those.

What would be the cost and time in total ?

Thanks
