Its of two years. I am not sure about exemptions.

After Bcom and Mcom, no exemption for CA. There may be exemption after Mcom in MBA of 1 year depending upon the institute.
However, After Bcom you can directly go for ACCA and after Mcom (Punjab University only) first 5 papers exemption is available. and duration of Mcom after Bcom is two years same as BA, Bsc bla bla bla bla.
But believe me friend, Mcom is a huge pile of junk. I don't know why ACCA provide 5 paper exemption. My friend is a first class Mcom and he is not better than a CAT student (actually worse than CAT graduate). Would you believe that 90% examination questions in Mcom are objective type. Still its called a masters degree.....maggot shit.
However, its your choice where you go.

You are right loverfellow. Its just a name 'M-Com' otherwise there is nothing in m com.
And let me tell you many MBAs of our universities are no better than CATs. Some two months ago I asked some basic accounting questions from a student who was in the middle of MBA and he didnt even know what is a "Drawing A/C" and how many types of accounts are there (they only know about expenses, incomes, assets and liabilities).
Most amazingly when I asked him what is the usual balance of an expense (which is nothing as its a temp account with no opening or closing balance) he confused and told me debit.
Most of Pakistani MBA and MCom students dont know the answers of above mentioned questions. Its funny.
This reminds me of my B-Com days. Once in the classroom I asked my teacher (who was an MBA and a student of PHD) what is a drawing A/C and he became confuse and told me that it was an expense.
