Clare Finch of Kaplan (previously FTC) has written a book entitled "A student's guide to International Accounting Standards".

This book is a "must have" for all those of you who are studying any financial reporting paper which demands a high level of knowledge of the (very complex) IAS's. The book is colour-coordinated to show you which IAS's are explicitly examined in each financial reporting paper and is written in a down to earth style. Each chapter also contains a real-life scenario which applies the standards - more often than not a standard text book won't do this.

The book is £30 including P&P - and can be purchased from:

http://www.kaplanfinancial.co.uk/

If you follow the publishing/materials link you will be able to purchase it.

Definitely well worth the money and it will make your life a lot easier.
