Hi guys/girls,

I failed my last two papers (F5 & F9), dont think I practiced enough questions. I have decided to do my re-sits plus another paper (F4 ) on top - do you think two months will be enough to get ready considering I work full-time/often long hours?

Also, can anybody give me some advice on the best approach to these exams ? - they were my first writtten ones.

All help/advice would be gratefully appreciated.

start studying from now .. sleep for 4 or 5 hours and study ur rest time
use good materials & for revision solve plenty of past papers
make sure you choose and study the right variant of f4
for easy study use www.opentuition.com along with BPP or Kaplan books

Lonely Soul, are you serious - sleep for 4 or 5 hours...? Do you think it might be too many exams , I mean two are re-sits, so I am hoping I dont have to put as much work in...

yeah 4 or 5 hours coz only 2 months left, or only if u can manage to study continuosly without taking breaks
i take alot of brakes in between ..
to be honest, i didnt finish the portion yet
i nearly reached half the books .. i didnt start solving past papers

Are you doing self-taught study? Excuse my ignorance but what country are you in? I have done taught classes in the UK, the teacher was quite confident 2 topics would come up which did not... so failed F5, F9 was really hard - well they both were hard...

i go for part time classes .. they aren't enought each subject is once a week
and the sir keeps on running through the chapters not going in details
so i really prefer studying alone

Yes , I think I prefer to study alone too...! Everyone learns in different ways and I dont learn just having someone lecture me... looks like we are both doing F5 so hopefully we can keep in touch and help each other out... ?
