Dear members,

This is my first post to you. I'd like you to help me.

I have bachelor degree in commerce; accounting department from Egypt and my degree is equivalent to the British bachelor degree of commerce. I live now in UK. I want to study ACCA. But first I want to gain some experience through work or training. I do not exactly know how to begin gaining this experience can I send e-mail to companies and accounting offices asking for Unpaid training or what to do?

Can anyone help me  :?:

Your Answers are much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Emmo,

I am also struggling to get the practical training that I need and its hard when employers are only looking to take on people who are already experienced!

Why don't you try looking at Ptap. They are an accountancy training college who specialise in the practical aspect of accounting and one of the benefits of their training is that they allow you to get experience working underneath their partner accountancy firm.

I'm planning to enroll next month and hopefully my struggle should end!

Check out this link, hope it works for you: www.ptap.co.uk
