Help.
I have been on the UK variant till now and have 3 papers left to complete my ACCA...P2, P5 and P7.
The tution providers in the UK are only offering the INT variant...i do not really want to change to INT variant.
Do you think i can take the course but still give the UK variant exam.
Look forward to some guidance

i also take P2 this semester and i just heard from my lecturer and he told us P2 is a quite tough paper, the only way you can do is:
Read the book and be very familar with it;
take very close attention to the articles in the Student Magazine
ensure you visit IASB website on a regular basis
do past papers PRACTICE ...PRACTICE...PRACTICE
that's all
^^ good luck!

Thanks a lot.
By the way,is P2 focusing on theory?

in P2 you have a lot of calculations and theory as well
many of the calculation questions you have to present it theoretically
my lecturer told me to remain aware of the current issues and developments going on
(IAS, IFRSs)
visit the iasb website for developments going on in the accounting world
also practice a lot
