Hi everyone....

Do you think ICAEW's introduction in Pakistan will open new doors of oppurtunities to ACCA's in Pakistan or willing to go to Pakistan?

Do you think we must focus a bit more to go and work in our own country? or Internationally?

One of the comments Of Mr . Amir on some other forums really motivated me..... 'Most of the ACCA population is over concerned in international opportunities despite of the fact that they can even settle better here in pakistan'

Do we have better opportunities in our own country.....

Plz comment....Everyone invited.....

Dear Ali Hassan,a

Despite of all the hindrance created by local Chartered bodies for ACCAs still ACCA is having great marketability(this is just because of the hard work of some selfless professionals of ACCA in pakistan).

The forum at which i have posted this post was in some other circumstances.

ICAEW's introduction will have no affect on the market of ACCA because ICAEW's TOP-UP is primarily designed for ICAP members and ACCA Affiliates.

Only advantage for ACCAs will be that they can after 14 papers of ACCA complete ICAEW's 3 papers and then in order to become a member of ICAP they only need to pass two papers Corporate Laws and Secretarial Practices and Advanced Taxation paper of ICAP.

It will be futile for people who have decided to live here in pakistan to go for ICAEW despite of wasting time in this route they can directly join ICAP from Module 'E'.

Regards,

Muhammad Amir
