Quite interesting but there are some fake ones as well.

E.g. 21 is a case for being fake.

Question: Does cracking your joints especially the knuckles cause arthritis? What
are some of the results of doing so?
Renee Knuckles/Albemarle High School/Charlottesville, VA.

Answer:
Cracking knuckles has NEVER been associated with causing arthritis.
This concept is as wrong as saying weight lifting makes you short, or
playing basketball makes you tall.

The "popping" of the knuckles results from forcing joint fluid to
very rapidly pass from one side of the joint to the other, where the
"sides" are partitioned off by the main bones of the joint. Let me
rephrase that: a joint is an area where two or more separate and distinct
bones meet. The joint fluid provides a cushioning between the joints
so that they don't grate into each other. Cracking your knuckles forces
the joint fluid from one part of the joint to another, and the popping
sound is just the result of the high pressured rushing of fluid.

Rheumatoid arthritis is characterized by the loss of joint fluid from the
joint, but it results from damage to the linings of the joint itself.
It's tempting to claim that the high pressure flushing of fluid during
a knuckle "crack" can cause damage to the lining, but there simply is no
evidence to that effect. It was probably made up by some very sensitive
individuals who hate the "pop".

QUOTE:
Q. I have a habit of cracking my knuckles. What makes that "popping" sound when they are cracked? My friend says it will make them bigger, is this true ?

A. It won’t make them bigger, but it could over time. When you crack your knuckles, you are actually pushing the joint either into or out of its normal position. In either case, when you do this, gas, mostly nitrogen, is displaced and escapes from the joint space. This displacement of gas causes the "popping" and "cracking" sound of knuckles, and a few other joints. Not all joint "popping" sounds are caused by escaping gases. In some joints, most notably the hip, the sound is made by ligaments moving over the bone.

You just manipulate the information contained in the referred article. Certainly sound created by cracking knuckles is from the fluid. But what causes the fluid to by so pushy or bursty are gases (mostly nitrogen).

Stop blaming and others when your so-called scientific facts fail scientific rational scrutiny. You are a liar when you say that i mainupulate the info. What exaclty have i mainupulated?

I pasteed the article just as it was, without adding or subtracting a word!

I CHALLENGE you in front of the whole internet to prove that i have mainupulated something.

it says..........

So i think that you claim to know more science that the scientists???

No where nitrogen is mentioned that Nitrogen alone is responsible for the sound.

So prove it!!!!!!

Let me first tell you what exactly is manipulation.

QUOTE:
. control somebody or something deviously: to control or influence somebody or something in an ingenious or devious way
Microsoft® Encarta® Reference Library 2005. © 1993-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

and

1-to manage or influence skillfully, esp. in an unfair manner: to manipulate people's feelings.
2-To influence or manage shrewdly or deviously: He manipulated public opinion in his favor.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/manipulate

You manipulate the information when you claimed that nitrogen is not part of the process of making sound at all. Can you prove that article mentioned by you supersede the articles mentioned by me.

QUOTE:
I pasteed the article just as it was, without adding or subtracting a word!

Yeh, you pasted the article word by word. But it doesn't deny the fact that there are other resources which can prove it irrelevant. In fact, this article doesn't mention the complete information. It doesn't mention that nitrogen is not responsible for that process at all.

QUOTE:

QUOTE:

That is what your bogus science says.

Here again you manipulate information when you just ignored the next sentence which was:

QUOTE:
But what causes the fluid to by so pushy or bursty are gases (mostly nitrogen).

and

Question is whether nitrogen is responsible for that or not.

You manipulate my point by taking advantage of one line ignoring other. Who is liar then?

Still this doesn't prove that nitrogen is not responsible for making sound in knuckles. And by the way how you are gonna eat words in the articles mentioned by me.

QUOTE:
So i think that you claim to know more science that the scientists???

Oops...I don't. These are scientists who are claiming (in the articles mentioned by me) that mostly nitrogen gas is responsible for making sound.

No where nitrogen is mentioned that Nitrogen alone is responsible for the sound.

Where the heck I claim that Nitrogen alone is responsible for producing sound. You are again telling a lie.

^^ My dear aunty Loverfellow,

You have not answered my questions in the previous post.

Q1) As the onus of proof is always on the one making the claims, I request you to give 100% scientific proof that the sound is only because of Nitrogen, and nitrogen alone without any doubt.

Prove that or withdraw you allegation about me being a liar and mainupilator...........and you get your definations correct as I am ok with mine.

Until you answer the above question satisfactorily then you are the No 1 Liar and False Accuser of this forum.

And while you are at it also answer the following:

Q2) We all know that Oxygen gets absorbed in the body by Haemoglobin, can you please tell us that how does Nitrogen absorb into the body?

Q3) Why does the Nitrogen only stay near the knuckes, why does it not move around?

Q4) What happens to the Nitrogen after it is released, where does it go?

Eat your words my dear aunty, before your evil is exposed further.

sorry i had to intervene... lol

all kinds of gases are soluble in water...

there's a kind of capsule surrounding your joints.

when you crack your knuckles, you're actually stretching this capsule i.e. increasing the capsule's volume. we know that when volume increases while mass is constant, pressure will decrease.

the decrease in pressure will cause the gases in the fluid in the capsule to be less soluble, thus, bubbles form.

when stretched far enough, the bubbles will burst, producing the "pop" sound.

after some time, about half an hour, the gas will redissolve into the fluid and you can begin your knuckles cracking symphony again...
