Is there any way to save/export a page from Word as an image (jpeg, bmp etc.) :?:
Like we can do in Power Point :roll:

Most likely convert word document to pdf and then image conversion would be easy with any simple software.

But I was asking if Word itself has such function/option or not.

I am using ms word for more than five years and i have never seen this function by default in microsoft word.

Well I found out today that we can save MS Office files in image formate with the use of MS Office Document Imaging tool which installs with the office.

Just open it and import a file and now you can select any area/part of file as an image and past it in any other software i.e. powerpoint or windows paint prush. It will not act as text but it will be coppied as a picture.

You can also do it from within the document you are working on.

Press Print button and select "MS Office Document Image Writer" and press OK. Image is ready.

It is not always needed but at someplaces i.e. this forum you can't post something with columns, diagrams, fonts, symbols, tables, themes, backgrounds etc. So if in any case you need to post such thing you will need to convert your word file into a picture which you can post here.

I know you may not need this throughout your life but I wondered how I can do this so I found this way.
