iam planning to make the project report of OBU. can somebody guide with it,by providing a sample report for guidence as to how to make the report , what material should be included in it.i also want to know that which organisation should i choose.

Can any One help me please, I am planning to register for ACCA by July 15th, 08.
If i register on that time, when can I get information on my registration and exemption ( I am expecting F1, F2, F3 and F4)Status.
I would like to write at least two papers in this December, But I dont know any thing about exam pattern, How will be the examination papaer, It means will be description type questions or multiple questions.

6 years back my Post Graduation completed, will it be diffuclt to pass the examaminations,
Where can I get all the books for ACCA Exams in Dubai, ( I am currenty working with a company as an Accountant in Dubai).

Dear Fahad,

First of all you need to visit ACCA's web portal and study about OBU's project guidlines and matters relating to it, then you need to find out a mentor for you who will assist you in your project completion and will approve your RAP and Key Skills Statement.

I have recently found a mentor for me, I have been called by him on monday so that we can discuss about the pros and cons of the Project.

dear brother aamir i have studied the guidelines on RAP on the ACCA wbsite but iam a little confused about which organisation to choose.

This is not a big problem. After Reading RAP(B.Sc Info Pack) your second task is to choose a mentor for you, he will solve your problem to choose organisation.

How do we go on looking for a mentor? Do we have to visit companies and ask them if they have any mentors?

A mentor can be:

---Tutor
---senior colleague at work e.g. your line manager
---qualified Chartered Certified Accountant

Kaplan provides the mentors for OBU. If you identify somebody as a potential Project Mentor who does not fall into any of these three categories, then you should contact the ACCA office at Oxford Brookes and provide a copy of your suggested Project Mentor’s CV for approval. If the proposed Project Mentor is a member of a recognised professional body or institute and / or holds a recognised degree equivalent qualification then it is likely that approval will be given.
