P2 bpp taught course?

Hi Guys,

I'm probably going to dramatically fail my p2 tomorrow but will be looking to re-take it in December.
Has any one used bpp's taught courses for this or any other module? I've managed to home study everything else but this one just doesn't seem to stick in my brain and working in management accounts rather than financial doesn't help as I hardly ever use this stuff!

What was the course / content like and was it worth it?

Thanks in advance!

Without a doubt it was worth it!

Although i haven't passed as I have to take it tomorrow too, I can't imagine trying to take it without having done this course. The tips and methods make life so much easier! I don't usually do revision courses but I even did the revision course for this as the syllabus is so large.

Cool thanks!

I am beginning to see my error in trying to teach myself this one!

What centre did you do it at?

Mine would have to be bristol and thats still 2.5 hours!

I did mine at Milton keynes and that is 5 minutes down the road for me, I'm lucky. I also had really good tutors (having said that I've never had a bad BPP tutor).

I promise (should it be necessary) you won't regret it!

hi there,

I have taken P2 course with Bpp @ kingcross london center and in my personally i didnt find Bpp helpful rather their approach i found quite difficult as compared to FTC.

FTC study text gives me more indept understanding of the topic. So I will go for FTC.

P2 is nothing just you have to have control over followings

Consolidated accounts
Cash flow sttm
Accounting standards.

if u master these u are easily passed. congrats.

Looking forward to pass tomorrow.

Are there any other P-papers, that need taking a course (apart from P2).

Is home study ok for F7 and F9?

I'll greatly appreciate it you could share your experience. Thank you

I have done all these as home study so far!

f6
f8
p6
p5
(no one mentioned to me you had to do the core before the optional at professional level!)

p1- took this on Monday and I will be miffed if I didn't pass.

I have done all of them with BPP home study and not had a problem, pretty much taught myself each course in a few days prior to the exam, not being big headed its just the way I learn.

I think I could manage p2 on home study but I am not sure I have the discipline to learn everything I need for this which is why I am considering the course!!
