Could anybody tell me is that very useful to do past papers of 3.5 for preparation of P3 exam?

No, P3 is very different from 3.5.

previous 3.5(Starategic Business Planning and Development) was only dealt with Strategic options, choices and decisions but current P3 is having more contents including,

-Business Process
-HR
-Project Management
-IT and Finance
-Total Quality Management(TQM)

And more importantly the examiner of paper P3 is different from 3.5 and his name is Steve Skidmore(who was also the exminer of 2.1[previous scheme]). Now, you can assume his IT bias in drafting papers.

Previous 3.5 papers can be a useful guide, however you need to take in to account the changes made in the new scheme of ACCA.

If you manage to get a revision kit you will find lots of 3.5 questions have been adapted to suit the syllabus but as Muhammed Amir has stated, it's not worth trying unadapted ones really.
