Welcome to the forum.

How to study:

Start with the book and revision kit side by side.

Try and finish the course 45-60 days before the exam.

Try to do 5-10 past papers before the exam.

Hopefully you will easily pass.

and remember there is NO short cut to hard work.

Thanks....that was helpful.....I'll start immediately......k....
Please what's the place of having textbooks for the ACCA exam. Can one pass just with the study text
alone....or one needs other recommended text. e.g Paper 1.2 C Drury for Managment Accounting.(I don't mean BPP and FL) to pass.

Well, without them you'd fail, so I guess they are quite important.

Hello ..am not talking about the study packs.......e.g BPP which i already have.....
Am asking cos a friend told me that with the study packs I should more than ok...
Is that correct.

What is included in the study pack?

Regardless you need:

Study Text
Revision Kit
Pass cards (optional)
Pastpapers (download from site)

and you are ready to go.

It depends.

On average try to finish the 2-3 subjects within 3 months, as that is somewhat standard. And 1 month revision on top of that.
Total 4 Months

All this info that you are asking is on the acca website.

Have a look there, and then if you have any questions do not be afraid to ask us.

Hello ,I did check but could only find the format for Paper 1.1 and Paper 1.2.....
but I don't know if the Mature Entry Route has d same format......
book - 21 Sep 2006, 01:20 am
Its the exact same paper.

There is not even an iota of difference between the Mature.... and the 1.1 and 1.2 papers.

Good luck.
