hi, well i recently joined ACCA with a sound base for accounts but the problem i am having is the british accounting system is totally different from american standards and workings the general idea is the same but the way is totally different i would like to ask some senior students abt the reference they took while doing 1.1 and 1.2 and i am just sorting my problem out from bpb and ftc is there any website that can assist me in the due course of my studies.

Ok boy the most helping reference book for you to develop understanding of Financial Accounting as per Uk standards 1.1 is Frank wood and Alan Sangster's Business Accounting 1 Ninth Edition and for 1.2 T.Lucy will be helpful to you
