Please help me in following topics;

1- MBO
- Reasons of its rare use (just short understandable points)
- Any example of MBO

2- Matrix structure
- An example of MS
- If I am CEO why should not I use MS in my company
- OK I am convinced but how, as an alternative, hyberd structure will function (its stucture and working in simple and short words)

It will be very helpfull if some have any diagram of HS

Thanks

MBO/MBI
1) Rare use
I think its not correct word "use" it should be "happen".
You can ask
Why it rarely happens?
Its because it requires lot of tough and unusal conditions
1)Owners willing to sell
2)Existing managers will to buy
3)Existing managers has enough resources to invest in that way for saving future interests.
4)New owners are likely to bring their own maganement.

It is clear it is very unusal activity to happen.

Ehhh Sorry second question
It was difficult concept for me but i have learnt it as "Project based" management/organisation.It is dual line management.

Example : Aircraft industry where they have to report company heads and government officals at the same time.(dual line)

Why should you use?
It is not optional structure some projects and industries require it.
