please anyone can tell me what is SAP and ORACLE? are they a some kind of degree or certificates? what is the duration? what benfit do we get? from where we can do this?(i live in Karachi, Pakistan) etc.

I don't know about SAP but ORACLE is database management system.

zainahmed SAP & ORACLE both are databaser related software.

They are not degrees or certificates, they are software applications. There are many institutes (on ever street corner) that are offering certificates and diplomas in ORACLE and SAP (a good certificate can cost you 50,000 per simester) but I will advise you to spend Rs 100 on CDs and Rs 500 on a book and learn them by yourslf.

And if you want to be a professional go for Universities i.e. Comsets institute of IT

SAP and ORACLE are what is known as Enterprise Resource Planning Tools. They are implemented using Database Administration.

If were to talk about SAP as a tool, SAP consists of many modules. The most pertinent/relevant modules to you would be the FiCo or Finance and Financial Control modules. These involve Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and other such financial functions within a large organisation, run on such networked system.
