Hi guys
i m currently taking tuition classes for Paper 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 for June 2007 exams
Thinking of taking Paper 2.2 also for this June 2007 but on self-study basis (coz timetable clashing).
I need some advises on the following matter before i sign up for exam entry.
1. what material for reference (law books or text books, etc)
2. how do i start (fast & express), enough with reviewing exam papers and articles/notes only?
3. recommend me for anything as long as i can pass this subject!
Thank You

redsever welcome to the forum.
If i am not wrong, unless you have already passed 2.1 paper, you can't sit for 1.1, 1.2 1.3 and 2.2 in June 2007 exam. have you already passed 2.1??
for 2.2 go through the FTC text book first and spend your time on FTC exam Kit or Past Q/A .
best way to pass the 2.2 paper is to remember case laws.
good luck.

hi, i will advised you to used mind map technique to remember facts and concept, that's what i did and i got 70 in 2.2, due dilligence is important, for me in the past i bought a local business law book as a reference and ofcos you must need other reading material from school, if you are not the student of that school which providing acca class, then maybe you stop by there to ask if it is possible to purchase lecture note(which usually come with the study structure or obtained a copy of class schedule so that you know where to begin with...) and also i will goes to Statutory website to seek for clarification should there be any doubt on the concept.....alway try this....read, understand and apply( practice questions).....

Hey Redsever,
How are you getting on with your 2.2 self study? Are you sitting the Global Law variant or Malaysian Law variant?
One recommendation I'd give for this paper is that it involves a lot of reading and writing long discursive answers. With each topic, if you can remember at least 2 to 3 case laws, you will be fine. The examiner want you to demonstrate how you will apply the case to the scenario in question, rather than regurgigate every single case law under the sun.
The best way to get an indication is to look at the past exam questions and model answers. Also, have a look at the examiners comments or marking scheme towards the end of the model answers. This helped me a lot in understanding what was required of me.
