I didn't notice this survey and now there is no use of submitting email :(

Well I have not sent any email but I think a student should;
1- Keep short notes
2- Avoid guess work and skipping
3- Learn how and why
4- Avoid being nervios
5- Practice enough
6- Never start next topic without enough understanding of previos one because next topics normally base on previos ones
I atleast try to follow these things.

Only if you do not have enough time and haven't done well yet
1 - Never start a topic from your text
2 - Start your topic from past papers and then look for details in the text only
3 - Your kit is a shit, never touch it
4 - Solve your topic by as many reference of the past papers as you can
5 - Never lose your confidence specially near exam
6 - Say yourself you can do that you are the best
7- Never lose a bit of time "last is least first is feast"
Highly effective for me..........

I don't agree with point 3 Kit is shit.Because in revision kit there are questions and answers from past papers and new trends. It is very useful to use kit.
loverfellow - 03 May 2006, 05:59 pm
Chilaila
but I always have a feeling about the kits that these include a bulk of useless topics which are not exam focused. If it includes questions and answers from past papers then why not cover it from past papers with official answers.
The best approach for me is to look up a topic in the past papers and cover related tactics from your text book for full understanding.
The structure of answers in kits is always very confusing and you may get yourself into double minded condition. Remaining questions they add in the kit are not always exam standard, but remember this approach is situational "if you don't have enough time and haven't done well yet".
Again it is my personal opinion. Anyone may agree or disagree.

hmm ...i will try to follow this approach cz i juss hav 1 month n 4 papers 2 prepare for...2.2, 2.4,2.5,2.6......which i can do if i sit and study :? .....please pray for me and give me any tips ...i just want to pass the papers ...dont care about high marks  .....
paki girl - 03 May 2006, 11:53 pm
Personally i think revision kits both (bpp+fl) are very useful though they contain some same questions because they are taken from old papers but still they have unique questions so they are helpful. But most helfpul technique for scoring good marks is to solve old question papers and practice.
btw this thread is for top studying tips

One tip from me
Must be determined to achieve the daily targets.
Jingacca - 10 May 2006, 09:40 pm
Planning is important. I always make sure enough time to at least GO ThROUGH all materials I have on hand.
For lots of questions in the revision kit, (if time is limited), I d always read the questions, think of an answer plan, and go through the answers.
If my answer is in line with the answer, great.
If my answer is different/or havent got a clue, then try to understand the answers, or find the literature in the text book for such subject to study again.
Hope it helps.
