If you’re a qualified accountant and have teaching experience, did you know that you can earn £40 to 100k+?
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program is a qualification for professional investors, but contains a large proportion of accounting and financial statement analysis. However, unlike ACCA, CIMA etc.. there are only a handful of tutors on the market (only 20 to 30 in the whole of the UK). The supply/demand equation means that competent professional tutors can earn substantial salaries. For instance, a junior tutor can expect around £40K whilst the most experienced can earn a 6 figure pay packet.
There are 4 main CFA providers in London:
BPP
Kaplan Financial (was FTC)
Quartic Training
7City Learning
As the market is always looking for fresh talent, competent qualified accountants with teaching experience should send their CVs to the head of financial markets at the above mentioned firms. Most tutors at these firms have good degrees, are usually qualified accountants or CFAs, have work experience and are confident presenters.
Make sure you do your research first & GOOD LUCK!
