Is it anything different from website?

It can be said as form of website.... it is another name of BLOG.

What is it? – the term blog is short for weblog. This is a website on which somebody, or a group of people have placed a kind of Internet diary which is regularly updated, and shows the newest entry first. You can scroll back through and read the older entries. Maintaining or running a blog is called blogging. This concept is different from a forum or a newsgroup, because only the person whose blog it is can bring up a subject for discussion.

Tough work to host and find and .... :s

:D not very tough indeed you should have something to blog.

It is special website in which you write your views about the selected topic.And you have viewership which is addicted to your thoughts about that topic and in that sense you can develop virtual community who are focussing on weblog topic.Its also call BLOG.Some people say it bee log and rest of the people say it blog.

Kindly please bother to search two sources before asking such questions that are waste of bandwidth space.
