accountant in the USA - exam center in Canada?

Hello,

I am planning on moving to the UK in a year (I am currently living in the US) and so I would like to start working on the ACCA to help make myself more marketable when I get there.

As far as I see, there is no exam center in the US, and the closest one is in Canada.

I was reading how some sections like the law section differ and can be specialized based on country.

Do you know if taking the exams in Canada is going to carry over to the UK? E.g. Is the law portion of the exam in Canada going to be irrelevant in the UK? Any extra advice on this?

Thanks,
