ACCA training period?

Hi, iam new to this great forum!

I have a question that its been few weeks that i have started my ICAP training in CA firm. Iam Pakistan CA student and also wanna do ACCA.

Will my ICAP training period be recognized and exempt's me from ACCA training requirement, i have 2 cases here:-

1) I register as ACCA student on basis of exemptions of my CA after my ICAP training completes?

2) I register as ACCA student at start of my ICAP training inorder to get its recognized and exempted?


Please reply in view of both options. For me preferable option is 1 (only incase of my CA training is recognized even if iam not registered with ACCA at the time of my training).
